Since 2015, we have been sowing brewing barley to transform it into beer on the farm. From the field to the mug is the expression that best illustrates the origin of the creation of the brewery: in fact, Henri, the brewer, started his project facing a search for autonomy. The passion for brewing has become more than a job: an art of living! As the company grew, we chose to focus our energy on brewing work, although a small hop field is still located on the estate and part of the barley transformed into beer still comes from the farm. Sensitive to environmentally friendly practices and in search of quality, we are committed to cultivating without the use of synthetic products, setting up our first agroforestry plot and supplementing our cereal production with barley malt and other cereals, favoring products labeled Organic Agriculture. We select as much as possible hops and aromatic ingredients (fruits, flowers, honeys, etc.) from local sources and also directly taken from the estate. The distribution of our beers is done very locally, directly and on the markets.

It was in a search for autonomy that the brewery project was set up at the Domaine de Bernou. Today, only part of the ingredients are produced on site.
